Sales Person
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our EMEA Sales team in London, with responsibility to grow and expand corporate subscriptions business.
We usually respond within a month
International subscriptions sales team are responsible for the B2B sales of corporate subscriptions for our five niche industry publications; Tradewinds, Upstream, Recharge, Hydrogen Insight and Intrafish.
Your strategic role:
- Grow and expand the corporate subscriptions business
- Promotion and sales of all publications
Your day-to-day:
- Identify new business opportunities for all brands and meet monthly sales targets
- Maintain existing corporate subscriptions and upselling new products.
- Develop and maximise presence and market share in designated accounts and territories.
- Build relationships and understand customer business to provide valued based solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of our niches, products, and services to identify new potential subscribers.
- Provide customer service to existing subscribers
- Collaborate with the regional sales team on sales initiatives and products.
- Preparing prospect proposals and presentations, provide reports when requested.
- Attention to detail and ensuring the organisational reputation is presented well.
Your background:
- Experience in sales, and customer service
- Educated to degree level with BSc or MSc in business administration
- A customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to interface at all levels and across different sectors.
- Experience of CRM systems (Hubspot, Adobe, etc) ideal but not essential
- An ability to work in a collaborative environment across teams, local and global.
- An understanding of shipping, energy or seafood industries would be an advantage
- A good working knowledge of MS Office
- The ability to sell effectively on phone, email and in person
- Strong work ethic and desire to achieve results.
