Our Commercial team in Asia, is strategically placed in Singapore and Shanghai, to sell world leading media brands in business news, and intelligence in shipping, energy and seafood.

As part of our strategy to rocket propel Asian markets, we are seeking to hire a commercial leader to support business development for both subscription sales and marketing solutions, whilst working closely with their global counterparts.
This role will report into the Head of International Sales.
Your strategic role:
- Providing the cohesion between the consumer business and marketing solutions teams based in Asia and taking a leading role in local office management.
- Develop the Asia business strategy alongside sales directors and editors.
- Manage, develop and grow a high performing sales team.
- Develop strategies and execute cross-departmental and cross publication sales.
- Develop a culture of knowledge sharing and team play.
- Foster a culture of sales excellence across all aspects of the sales cycle by instituting a constructive sales approach in large enterprise deals.
- Highly visible commercial ambassador for DN Media and all publications
- Collaborate on DN Media Group publications initiatives and projects.
- Help drive regional marketing initiatives across all channels
Your day-to-day:
- Budget and personnel responsibility for all sales teams across DN Media Group’s English language publications in the Asia region.
- Manage own portfolio of sales accounts
- Strengthen the publications’ market positions and grow new sales, renewals and long-term revenues from corporate customers and partners.
- Define and realize regional corporate sales and customer strategies. Secure alignment with the editorial and target group strategies.
- Forecasting, pipeline management and sales performance management
- Develop a product strategy for new revenue earning initiatives for MS to include events, content marketing and advertising.
Your background:
- A bachelors or masters degree in strategic marketing, communication, business and administration, or similar.
- Significant proven experience in B2B sales management, digital transformation, team development.
- Experience of working in a global environment.
- Excellent command of English
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Business development - turning market insights and analysis into clear business opportunities, and get internal stakeholders onboard
- People leadership and coaching
- Strong understanding of editorial products and the journalistic "mission"
- Build trust
- Change leadership
