About the role
DN Media Group is strengthening the way we drive digital subscription growth across brands and markets. As we advance our commercial setup, digital sales performance and experimentation have become core levers for improving acquisition, optimizing the paywall, and increasing conversion through targeted sales campaigns.
To accelerate this work, we are establishing a dedicated Digital Sales & Experiments function. As leader of this team, you will define how we use paywall tactics, segmentation, offer development, and systematic testing to improve commercial performance. You will drive continuous experiments on paywall logic, messaging, pricing and new concepts, and work closely with Brand & Marketing to ensure that marketing efforts translate into conversion and new subscriber growth.

Your strategic role:
Set the direction for digital sales growth across brands, with clear strategies for funnel optimization, commercial activation, and paywall performance
Lead the development and evolution of paywall strategy, segmentation logic, offer structures, and commercial rules
Build and manage an experimentation roadmap that improves core metrics through A/B and multivariate testing
Work closely with Brand & Marketing to ensure sales campaigns and marketing activities generate high‑quality paywall traffic and drive new subscription sales
Partner with Product & Tech, Editorial, Subscription Business developers, and Data & Insight to align commercial goals with product development and insight
Your day-to-day:
Lead the setup and execution of sales campaigns, on‑site commercial messaging, and paywall configurations
Develop offers for different customer phases, including new sales, win back initiatives, and promotional campaigns
Implement pricing and packaging changes in collaboration with Subscription Business partners and developers
Run experiments on paywall logic, messaging, pricing, and new commercial concepts
Monitor funnel performance, analyze results, and turn insights into actionable improvements
Ensure correct targeting and GDPR/privacy‑compliant execution across all digital sales activities
Lead and develop a team of digital sales specialists and experimentation profiles
Your background:
6+ years of experience within digital growth, CRO, digital subscriptions, performance optimization, or commercial product roles
Strong experience with experimentation methodologies, funnel analysis, testing platforms, and analytics tools
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in digital conversion and commercial performance
Experience with paywall systems, segmentation logic, subscription funnels, or similar digital monetization models
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with marketing, product, editorial, and analytics teams
Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
