About the role
As DN Media Group’s brands continue to evolve and our audience engagement grows, strong brand positioning and marketing excellence have become essential drivers of visibility, relevance, and commercial performance. We are now strengthening our marketing capabilities with a dedicated Brand & Marketing function that will drive clear brand positioning, unified communication, and high‑impact marketing execution across publications.
As leader of this team, you will shape how DN Media Group’s brands are positioned, communicated, and experienced across channels. You will work hands on, and guide brand platforms, creative direction, and multi‑channel marketing that strengthens reach and contributes to commercial outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Digital Sales & Experiments team to ensure that marketing activity translates into paywall traffic, high‑quality leads, and new subscriber growth.
This is a role for a leader who combines strategic brand thinking, creative strength, and have modern hands-on marketing competence. Someone who can turn insight, communication strategy, and cross‑channel execution into strong brand presence, effective campaigns, and measurable impact across all our publications.
Your strategic role
Lead the brand and marketing strategy across all DN Media Group publications and market segments
Own brand and product positioning, messaging frameworks, and creative direction across channels and formats
Build a coherent, modern marketing operation that strengthens brand perception and drives audience engagement
Ensure marketing investments drive meaningful outcomes such as paywall traffic from external channels, new customer acquisition and lead generation for B2B
Set clear priorities, operating principles, and long‑term direction for the Brand & Marketing team
Your day-to-day
Oversee the development of brand platforms, visual identity elements, and creative assets together with your team
Lead multi‑channel marketing execution across paid, social, content, and partnership channels
Develop and execute marketing campaign concepts that support brand and commercial goals
Collaborate closely with Digital Sales & Experiments to ensure marketing execution supports subscription sales targets
Work across Editorial, Product & Tech, CVO, and Corporate Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent brand expression across the customer journey
Manage marketing budgets, agency collaborations, and performance evaluation
Your background
6+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership, communications, or creative direction.
Proven experience building and executing brand platforms and integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of audience behaviour, channel strategy, and communication effectiveness.
Experience partnering with commercial growth teams to ensure alignment between brand initiatives and business outcomes.
Leadership experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
