DN Media Group and TradeWinds are expanding Executive Network following strong market demand and excellent feedback. As part of our global growth initiative, we are now seeking a Commercial Project Leader for a 12-month fixed-term position. You will have a clear commercial responsibility for identifying, attracting and recruiting suitable members to the network, while helping to develop the concept further.
About TradeWinds Executive Network
TradeWinds Executive Network brings together international leaders and decision-makers from the maritime industry to share experiences, discuss real challenges and develop new perspectives that strengthen their leadership.
About the role
This role is for someone who enjoys reaching out directly to leaders and decision-makers, understands the industry and can engage effectively in strategic discussions.
You will own the entire process, from research and initial contact through to meetings, follow-up and signed memberships. You will also support existing members, build long-term relationships and contribute to the network’s international development. You will have the flexibility to organize your working day and have access to the expertise within TradeWinds and DN Media Group.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, builds trust and has the drive and persistence to maintain momentum over time. You will join a growing business area within DN Media Group.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Identifying and researching suitable potential members.
Contacting leaders and decision-makers by email and phone.
Planning and conducting meetings.
Following up with potential and existing members.
Building and developing long-term relationships with members within the network.
Contributing to the continued development and international growth of the concept.
We are looking for someone who:
Ideally holds a degree in shipping, communications or a related field.
Has experience in, or has worked closely with the maritime industry, and may already be familiar with key market players.
Can communicate professionally with senior decision-makers.
Has strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Takes on a structured and systematic approach to your work and is motivated by progress and results.
Is curious, proactive and focused on building relationships.
Enjoys both working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
