Reporter - Hydrogen Insight
The world’s leading news website for the clean hydrogen industry, Hydrogen Insight, is expanding and seeking a new full-time reporter to join our talented editorial team.

Hydrogen is a fascinating, fast-moving and complex industry that will be vital in the fight against climate change, and is one of the most talked-about and fast-growing sectors in the world.
You will join a team of three experienced editorial staff, writing news, features and analysis, with opportunities to attend conferences and events around the world.
Fluency in English is necessary, and the ability to speak other languages would be welcome, but is not essential.
We are open to having applications from all countries that we have existing operations, Germany, Norway, UK, Singapore.
Your day-to-day:
- Provide fast, authoritative and lively reporting on the global hydrogen industry
- Generate a strong file of exclusive stories, original interviews and thought-provoking analysis that sets Hydrogen insight apart from its competitors.
- Report breaking news – fast.
- Deliver ‘clean’ copy that requires minimal editing/rewriting.
- Work as part of a global team in news planning and generating story ideas.
- Optimise your stories to drive digital reader engagement.
Your background:
- Strong writing and editing abilities, with close attention to detail.
- A desire and enthusiasm to learn and to develop as a business journalist.
- Great interpersonal skills that will enable you to develop contacts and source news and features.
- Reporting experience with a reputable news organization would be beneficial, but not required.
- Knowledge of hydrogen is not essential. More important is the ambition, curiosity and initiative to deliver original and compelling news stories faster – and better – than the competition.
- You should be a university graduate
Writing ability will be tested at the interview stage.
It should be noted that this role will be the most junior of the team, and may suit a graduate, young journalist, or someone starting out in their journalism career.
