Recharge is hiring a power market analyst in our London newsroom. You will work as a journalist, and a huge part of your job is to deliver insight into the latest trends, risks and opportunities in the power markets – with special attention to important issues for the business of wind and power.
Recharge is a leading voice in the renewable energy sector, with the business of wind and power in Europe and North America as our most important focus.
What you'll do: Deliver exclusive content, in particular analysis that offers insight to decision makers in the renewable energy industry. Accurately assist fellow reporters on breaking news stories. Build relationships with sources in some of the most important companies in the world. Use digital tools and AI to improve our news journalism.
What you bring: Initiative and ambition to deliver stand-out analysis and insight that is easy to understand. Willingness to learn every day and apply your knowledge in your next story. Strong presentation skills, preferably across formats. Ability to build sources and uncover stories. A curiosity towards how to apply AI in your work.
This is a junior position and an ideal opportunity for either a graduate or someone in the early stages of their career, with a keen interest in learning more about this industry.
